Oregon Consumer Voices for Change

Oregon Consumer Voices for Change is the statewide Consumer Voices for Coverage project seeking to provide affordable, accessible health care coverage for all Oregonians by 2011.  The goal of this coalition is to identify and organize Oregon consumers and the organizations that represent them to speak with a united voice about the essential components of an effective, affordable, accessible health system.  It will do this by providing and soliciting consumer-oriented information necessary for effective consumer participation in the health reform discussion at the local, state, and national level.

The Oregon Health Action Campaign (OHAC) is leading the Oregon Consumer Voices for Change project.  OHAC’s mission is to empower the consumer voice in the development of quality, responsive health systems that allow all people access to the health care they need, when they need it, from providers of their choice at an affordable cost.
