New Jersey Consumer Voices for Coverage
Project Director: Evelyn Liebman
New Jersey Consumer Voices for Coverage seeks to build an integrated health care advocacy system to carry out effective public education efforts on state and federal level reform policies to expand health insurance coverage for all. Specifically, the project aims to establish and expand a consumer advocacy network, develop an army of grassroots leaders to build popular support state wide, coordinate public education efforts around health reform policies to expand public and private options, develop and implement a communication and media strategy, and engage in an overall campaign to create an environment for health care reform.

NJCAEF is a coalition of community and political organizations promoting the empowerment of low and middle-income people through research, education and training around public policy issues and through direct counseling and services for 1.2 million uninsured individuals throughout New Jersey.
